Aaron and Alicia raised their daughter to love all people of all races, to practice diversity, and to discriminate against no one. They raised her to despise racism and bigotry.
So, it was no surprise when Annie came home with Anthony, her first boyfriend. Alicia thought it was so cute to see them holding hands, and Aaron saw the black boy as the protective type when his arm went around her as Dad snapped their picture.
